Programme

Plenary sessions will focus on cross-themes which have also informed the design of the overall programme. The following themes will be addressed:

  • Towards a Global Culture 2030 Goal.
  • Cities and challenges.
  • A gender perspective in cultural policies.
  • Social Transformation and Culture.
  • Independant culture.

The Summit is also underpinned by an aim to foster learning on a wide range of issues related to culture and sustainable cities. The parallel sessions, as well as the workshops and side events will be designed to allow presentation of experience, introduce on-going work ad provide advice on needs and opportunities. The Summit will be a real place for peer-learning and networking among cities, local governments and other stakeholders.

The full programme is available here.
